Isaiah 43:10-13 ESV
[10] “You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me.
[11] I, I am the Lord, and besides me there is no savior.
[12] I declared and saved and proclaimed, when there was no strange god among you; and you are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and I am God.
[13] Also henceforth I am he; there is none who can deliver from my hand; I work, and who can turn it back?”

There is much pain and suffering in the world today. Birth pains, but beyond human ability to bear.
Why so much suffering?
Because that is the result of a world separated from God. From His truth, Grace and Love.
It is only in returning to Him and surrendering to His ways that we will have peace.
For this world, no matter how long we suffer here, is temporary, so temporary beloved. But God’s love is eternal. And there will be a new heavens and a new earth, the home of Righteousness.
A friend posted Beauty for Ashes, but all she could see now is ashes.
My response below to the intense suffering comes from my own partnership with suffering over many years, but I certainly have not endured what many in war zones or third world countries are enduring.
🙏🙏🙏Beauty in the ashes of the cross was when the One who had every right to destroy His enemies and sinful sinners cried out Father forgive them. For they know not what they do. Is there any evil too great for the Love of God to forgive or His holy fire to consume? When His love overcomes our just hatred, beloved, there will be beauty. It will come. It will come. Corrie ten Boon, the Hiding Place is good reading. The movie Sabina is also good.
But none compares to the story of the Creator, Judge and Redeemer of all things from Genesis to Revelation who continues to pour out His love on selfish, prideful, unloving, greedy, idolatrous, murderous people in hopes that they might yet turn and find him. For God as it is written, takes no delight in the death of the wicked but would rather they repent.
Prayers continued for healing of Israel, the Middle East and this world. Israel and the Jews are not alone in their intense suffering. The birth pangs are felt now around this world. Many horrors are being done in many places, so prayers we live wisely. Not for the pleasures and temporary refuges of this world, but beloved💞 may we live fervently for God with our energy, words, time, money, resources, who longs for all to come to His eternal refuge.
Prayers for your healing and peace and for all God’s will to be done in our lives. Much love.
