This is my response to this article which I thought was excellent from the Colson Center. (You will want to read the article first.)

“Interviewing the Dead through AI”

I have been praying God pulls the plug. CS Lewis also dealt a little bit with this magic to computer to the demonic in the third book of his space trilogy, “That Hidden Strength.”

It all seems beyond evil and scary, but the words of a mature Christian, the wife of one of my pastors, continually replays in my mind amid this scary generation and time as I raise three girls.

Sandy said something to the effect of, “Don’t worry, there is no sin and no evil that this generation or any generation can come up with that the power of God, the love of God, and the grace of God cannot overcome.”

I constantly remind myself of that and constantly have to verbalize that out loud to myself and others. “God Is Bigger, infinitely bigger than all of these evils. His power and his love and his grace given us at the cross is eternal. These evils are temporary.” Often now I will speak that out loud into the spirit Realm and remind them they are temporary and this wickedness is temporary.

But his kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom that has no end and of the increase of his government and of his PEACE there will be no end.

In the Book of Revelation, I forget whether it’s an angel or an eagle, is going out crying, “Fallen! Fallen is Babylon great!”

The earthly Babylon is no more. Rome that destroyed so many lives and held so much Terror no longer exists.

Hundreds upon hundreds of tribes and nations from the past millennium are forever gone. But Israel and those that worship the true God whether they have yet come to the knowledge of Jesus or not, has come back to their Homeland according to the written word of God, the Bible that still exists with so many copies when every other writing from past millennia has disappeared or proven false.

The gods of Pharaoh’s time in Egypt have long ceased to be worshiped.

The mythological gods of the Greeks and Romans no longer have temples built to their name.

And though communism and the spiritual Kingdom of the Antichrist spirit still seems to raise its head, Jesus Christ is risen from the dead.

He is alive and there are still reports even from Muslim countries that have no access to Christianity to his appearing in the flesh to those whose hearts are hungry and thirsting after righteousness. Appearing to Those whom God Wills.

The Mustard Seed has been planted and it has become the largest tree in the garden the birds of the air rest in its branches.

Hitler is dead.

So many religions have come and gone, yet there are still people who worship the true God in Jesus Christ Our Lord and King.

So, since we know God is not willing that any perish but it all come to life, when we see these things  we can offer a prayer for Elon Musk and many others that the Lord might forgive their sins, their rebellion in witchcraft, their lies, and we can pray that God’s name be hallowed in their lives, that’s his kingdom come, his will be done on Earth as it is in heaven. For the kingdom and the power and the glory are his forever.

Because of the things of this world and lies, AI, misused technology, shootings and all of the other things that seem so very dark right now, it’s hard for us to see who live under the cloud — this is so, so, so very temporary.

And when the Day comes, those things that deceive will be forever gone. And every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

So why wait for that day to start the conversation?

I pray that this man that decided to use AI in an effort to heal his pain, that somebody might share with him the truth. That Jesus Christ lives. That conversations that are created by men who create computers cannot take the place of an actual conversation with his son, but because Jesus Christ lives there is hope beyond the grave. His Earthly desire to stop shootings and keep others from harm such as he has gone through is commendable. But this is not the way. Lies will not bring truth into our society. And this Society desperately needs God’s truth and love because if the shooter had known Jesus Christ and had known the love of God, and the power of God to defeat the demonic voices in his head, he would not have shot this man’s son.

But turning to the Demonic to cast out the Demonic will never work.

As Haiti has found out as they turned to the devil and demons to protect them from the Europeans that were persecuting them.

And yet they’re lives are full of constant destruction, intense suffering and hardship because you can’t submit to the devil to cast out the devil.

And once those people submit to him for Generations, he does not give his slaves up easily, it would take an army of Christians to enter into that place and it would take the hearts and minds of the Haitians, much prayer, much Warfare, much casting out of demons, for them to come to the understanding and the realization that they are not better off for their worship of the satanic.

But when people come in the time of the New Covenant and in the name of Jesus Christ and do satanic things, causing destruction and death in the Name of Love, as has happened throughout the millennium, it causes great confusion in those who do not have understanding and then they blame God and Jesus, though it’s the double agent serpent, the murderer and father of lies, that deceives them.

But one day all of these things will come to an end.

The leaves of the trees by the River of Life will be for the healing of the Nations.

May we walk in that healing and bring them the life that God desires instead of being bound by the grave clothes of this world, materialism, greed, Pride and so many things that keep those within the body of Christ from being effective.

May we seek God with all of our hearts, minds and strength so that we can be the light and salt and set people free.

For those people seeking lies from AI, may we give them truth.

People Bound by lies of rejection, clinging to sin rather than Christ, May we give them Grace and truth and mercy and love.

People seeking the demonic to be free from their pain, may we give them

the cross,

and the resurrection from the dead

and the true power that is offered to them to be Children of the Living God,

to live and be part of the One whose rule is far above all power dominion and Authority whose kingdom shall never end, who does not need to compete through magical tricks to prove Himself or His power because he created everything that exists. The only one who has the power to save from eternal hell when this life is over. No other spirit or gods of this world can do that.

As Martin Luther King Jr said, “hate cannot cast out hate. Only Love Can cast out hate.” But that love that casts out hate must come from God and without connection with the Living God we have no power. Or our power is incredibly Limited, because yes God’s love is in this world, and his love sustains those who believe in him and those who do not believe him. He causes the rain to fall upon the righteous and the unrighteous, and he desires all to come to the knowledge of Truth.

If we want truth in our schools that teaches how to be kind and loving and not kill, we cannot use lies to achieve that goal.

We cannot use Hamas leaders, while they are corrupted in evil and sin, to bring hope to Gaza.

One cannot plant thistle seeds and expect apple trees.

Darkness cannot cast out Darkness only light, when it comes, can cause the darkness to flee. There is no battle in that Fleeing.

When you turn on the light there is not a war going on while the darkness strives to maintain its hold.

You turn on the light and the Darkness goes away.

The only places where Darkness and Light can coexist is in the shadows.

Where things block the light.

But it is the light that sustains the living things, not the darkness.

We cannot seek death and the things of the Dead to bring us hope and life, because there is spiritual death, so we cannot seek death and the things of the dead to bring life. I know that is a teaching In some cultures, but those are cultures that have much death. It is not wrong to rejoice in those who have gone or to honor them, but it is wrong to give them a place of honor that God in his word does not give them, to seek them rather than him. As it is written why do you seek the living among the Dead? You do not go to a cemetery and seek inside the graves to find a living person.

Why then would you seek the Dead to bring life to others?

Only life can bring life.

And so Jesus Christ is life and he brings life and there is hope beyond the grave for this father, because there is hope in the life of Jesus Christ.

So I hope somebody brings him truth and Grace. I pray to God somebody tell him that lies cannot stop lies.

And death will not stop death.

Only truth can stop lies and only life can stop death. I pray somebody gives him a Bible or maybe one of those journaling Bibles, The Book of John or the Book of Matthew and urge him to seek that instead.

And as he hungers for the knowledge to make things better in this world, which is most commendable that he is thinking of others not just his own pain, we pray to God that he find the knowledge of God which is the only thing that can make things better in this world.

May we continue to be Salt and Light, bringing truth and Grace to this world, so desperately in need of the reality of God’s love.
