Letters to Christ's Beloved Church

I have felt sapped of energy and under demonic attack for a few days and today was really bad, it felt like witchcraft or Satanism but I couldn’t place where it was coming from.

Just now, I was whispering praises and psalms to God into the air and seeking God’s direction, the psalm says even if I make my bed in sheol, You are there, Lord.

Then I saw it was simply the occult movement and evil prayers gearing up for Halloween.

So asking believers to please join me in the following prayer and share as we are led.

Remembering first –

God is so good. He often allows His children to suffer temporary pain so we can witness to those who still need to believe of the eternal joy, salvation and kingdom found only thru Christ Jesus.

The Israelites in Egypt 400 years, a living testimony to the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob… (Those gods have been long gone, but through Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, the worship of the true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has spread across the earth. (Did someone say POWER?😊)

Naomi suffering the loss of husband and sons, while witnessing to her daughters in law, including Ruth, the Moabitess, great grandma of King David. Does anyone know the names of their gods to whom human sacrifices were given (without asking google)? Me either! But the God Ruth left them to follow is still worshipped today!

Daniel, Shadrack, Meshack and Abendigo serving in Babylon after having been taken forcibly from their families and made eunuchs (a painful thing in more ways than one) – such compassion our God has for this world!

As they shared the greatness of the living God with the kings and people who worshipped many idols. The worship of those gods and Babylon have been gone for millenia, but God’s Word share by that tiny, conquered nation called Israel continues til this day….

Greek gods, Roman gods, once worshipped and feared, live on only in the form of myths, and even that will fade.

The new gods prophesied in the Bible have arisen – the False Prophet, the beast, the dragon – occult is on the rise under new names, the god of self or humanism, and there are many humans that claim new knowledge, seeking to draw people after themselves.

They too will fade away…

Kingdoms rise and fall, but there is one Lord and King who will remain standing long after every lie (and tv show) is gone. He doesn’t have to keep conquering, He has already conquered! It is finished!

In His love, God waits, desiring all to turn to the truth. Jesus is alive and every human will stand before Him when we pass through the veil, and we will give an account of every deed and every careless word we have spoken. (So let’s not wait till then to start the conversation!)

Jesus’ kingdom is an everlasting kingdom that will never end. Strange we don’t notice the quiet power that created all things all thru history. What other god is worshipped today that existed 5000 Before Christ?

Every lie will forever be gone, including those spoken in His Name!

But now, let’s thank God for all He has done and pray for the salvation of those He loved so much, He sent His Son to die on the cross for their every sin. There is no sin or hate His love  did not pay the price for. It does not minimize the evil friend, but his power and love is greater.

Not even death could stop His love for you and me.

So let us pray:

Father, We know we do not fight against flesh and blood, but against demons and principalities, so we pray Father in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior,

We thank you, Lord, for a day and time, for Halloween, that we can remember to pray for those caught in the occult, in Wiccan and in Satanism and any other occultic things.

We know we are not “better” than they are morally or in any other way, that all we have to offer them is You, Lord, and the cross.

We know that rebellion in Your eyes according to Scripture, is as the sin of witchcraft and greed is as the sin of idolatry! So we stand, Lord, equal with them in our sin and in need of the salvation and grace only You can provide.

We know that ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and are justified freely through Your grace. Thank You Lord! That all who call on Your Name, the Name of Jesus SHALL be saved!

Break off of them Lord the foolish lies that their sin is somehow worse than our sin, for we too are often guilty of blasphemy when we profess You and Your love and then live contrary to Your truth and grace! (Lord, break the lies off of us as well!)

Lord, we ask your mercy and forgiveness for those caught in the murderous devil’s lies, for one can not curse what God has blessed, and those under Your blood, who walk in the obedience that comes with living faith – grace alone, not by works so no one can boast – Lord, are protected, but those caught up in occultic things harm themselves, for Lord, all wickedness and sin angers You and deserves Your just punishment, but they have not come to You for new life and protection, so Father please forgive these people and deliver them and set them free, for they do not know what they are doing, in Jesus’ Name we pray.

Forgive us, too, Lord, Your people, when we dabble in things You warned us were things You hate, things that lie, steal, kill and destroy. Forgive us when we foolishly look to stars to guide us, instead of to You, who created them, and to Your Word.

Father, please Lord have mercy on those caught and bring them to salvation, for You are not willing that any should perish in eternal separation from You – the Source of all goodness, love and power, before Whom soon every knee will bow, but You desire them to turn and simply call to You for eternal help, believing and Knowing that the cross is enough, believing in the Righteous One who makes people righteous.

Father, bring Your children into unity through the power of Your love.

Father, please protect all animals this season from evil intent or harm by wicked people, deceived by the devil’s lies.

Father, please bring many souls to you this season and turn many from the occult this Halloween to the true power found only in Christ, whose kingdom will continue eternally after every lie and temporary kingdom is long gone.

Lord, open the eyes of the blind, Father forgive those who speak foolish curses against Your children and BLESS them Lord! Let them know Your love.

Lord, we know there is nothing we need to fear but You! Mt. 10:28

Grant us power to do all Your will. For the battle is the Lord’s!
